Becker's
introduction to the horticultural business began in 1952
when Richard Becker bought his first 180-acre citrus grove
near Orlando, Florida. Since then, 3 generations have grown
the family citrus operation to over 15,000 acres spanning
Indian River, St. Lucie, and Martin Counties.
In 2002 the Becker family committed to
converting a citrus grove in Martin County to a state-of-the-art
tree farm and nursery.
Today Becker Tree Farm and Nursery has over 400 acres with
plans to expand the farm to 900 acres. The farm is conveniently
located just minutes from I-95 and the Florida Turnpike
in Hobe Sound.
